Simply ELT - Electronic Lien and Title

CCUA Member Credit Unions Can Turn to PDP Group for ELT Needs

HUNT VALLEY, Md.- The Cooperative Credit Union Association, based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, is endorsing PDP Group, Inc. (www.pdpgroupinc.com) as the exclusive electronic lien and titling (ELT) service provider in Massachusetts. PDP's services are currently available in all 23 states with ELT programs.

"Electronic lien titling offers a number of benefits to credit unions and consumers alike. PDP has a long history of providing quality ELT services that we think can help our member credit unions better serve their members during the auto loan process," said Association President Paul Gentile.

PDP Group's Simply ELT service will allow credit unions to manage their automobile title and other documents electronically within Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Florida, or wherever your member resides. There are currently 11 mandatory and 12 voluntary ELT states, with more to convert in 2017.

"We are excited to offer the members of the Cooperative Credit Union Association, really all credit unions, our premium services at enhanced rates," says John Yarbrough, PDP Group's Director of Business Development.

Simply ELT provides clients with electronic access to their titles. Electronic services eliminate fraud as the system reduces manual processing. Simply ELT allows a lender to receive electronic titles directly from a state DMV, request a paper title without releasing interest on the vehicle, and release the lien on the vehicle and have the title mailed directly to the release party.

The Cooperative Credit Union Association represents credit unions in four states: Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. MA is the only state of the four with an ELT program at this time, which was introduced in 1994.

Among the four states, CCUA advocates for nearly 200 credit unions. CCUA represents the interest of credit unions before Congress and state legislatures, regulatory bodies and the public.

Since starting business is 1974, PDP has expanded services beyond offering insurance solutions to vehicle dealers and manufacturers, to include insurance tracking, contract management, vehicle title storage, and electronic lien and title to the auto financing community. Presently, PDP supports 12% of vehicles in the United States.
